Leaf's Corner
May 2008You all remember how strong the wind was a few days ago.
Well, His Majesty was patiently sitting at the front door,
chirping and whipping his tail back and forth.
When we looked out we saw that one of our neighborhood chipmunks
was sitting in his favorite spot on the front steps, taunting Leaf as usual.
The only difference this time was that the wind had puffed up
the chipmunk's fur so much that he looked huge!
We wonder if Leaf was thinking of a way to get a tasty meal!
Leaf turned 17 on May 1st!

He lives in the store and stays all night
every night [unless we think weather
will be really bad, then we take him to the Danner family
home to "share" space with Clancy,
Tigger and Sheba, Susan's 'home' cats!].
