Susan Danner, Owner
Susan is a Muncie native, a graduate of Muncie Central High School,
and a 3 time graduate of Ball State University.
She has taught middle school science, high school physics,
and statistics and computer programming at Ball State University.
She changed her major 10 times before she graduated the first time!
Susan has 3 house cats (Sheba, Tigger, Clancy) and 1 store cat (Leaf).
Her daughter owns the Gift Shop inside Danner's.
About 5 years ago Susan won a bubblegum bubble-blowing contest!
Dottie Danner [Susan's mother]
Dottie is also a Muncie native, and a Muncie Central
High School graduate, as were her mother and father!
She is also a graduate of Stephens College.
Dottie met her late husband, Ed Danner, on a blind date
while he was on leave from the Army Air Corps during WWII.
She has always been a volunteer in the community.
She has 2 daughters, Susan and Anne [who lives with her husband
and two boys in Atlanta], and loves to swim, read, knit and garden.
She once knit Ed a pair of socks that were so long they looked
like knee socks - he wore them anyway!

~ Moth... [Susan's daughter]
Moth is also a Muncie native and loves to travel.
She is a graduate of The George Washington University and Dekalb College,
where she studied Psychology and Religion.
Moth owns the Gift Shop part of Danner's, and represents over 35 local artists.
Like all Danners, Moth has always been a volunteer in the community
and works to progress independent businesses in Muncie.

Linda Gregory
Linda Gregory is a Muncie native, a Muncie Central High School graduate,
and a 3 time graduate of Indiana University.
She is actually Dr. Gregory!
Linda learned to crochet in the 4th grade.
Her Latvian college roommate taught her to knit,
so she knits continental style (backwards to most of us).
She once knit 52 sweaters for children in one year
for the Christmas Bureau of Ft. Wayne.
Linda has way more yarn than anyone could use in a lifetime and still buys more!
She plans to live to 130, has attended every City Council meeting since 1998,
and knitted at every one of them!
Linda is a cancer survivor!

We accept anyone age 14 and up, and we would love
to try to help you get class credit if you need that.
We do mean Volunteer, with no cash pay.
We have many areas we could use some help in!
